‘Alohilani Grand Opening Celebration
Lei curated audio and video performances for the grand opening celebration of 'Alohilani, Waikīkī's newest luxury resort on May 8, 2018. Floating over the hotel's new infinity pool at its 5th floor Swell bar, Brooklyn-based DJ Kim Ann Foxman brought her unique sound to the over 800 guests of the event. To complete the scene, Hawai‘i video artist Joseph Pa'ahana's custom performance was projected over the hotel's beachfront tower. Utilizing video elements captured at the property and its Waikīkī surrounds, Joseph brought to life the new venue.
