NMG Names Tammy Uy Vice President Creative Development

Honolulu, Hawaii – NMG Network today announced it has appointed Tammy Uy as VP Creative Development. Uy brings 27 years of creative and hospitality management experience to the company during a time of expansion of its hotel and luxury residential partnerships. Through her extensive work in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries, Uy understands how the creative process supports client initiatives and growth strategies while maintaining brand integrity. In her new role, Uy will be responsible for further developing the company's creative teams to support its custom media partnerships and growth initiatives.

As NMG continues national expansion, further development of its executive team will ensure the company’s Hawaii-based operations continue to support each of its new partnership programs while providing outstanding service to legacy partners.

"Adding Tammy to our growing team is a milestone for NMG, as she brings a world of creative, marketing, and hospitality management experience," said Jason Cutinella, NMG Network CEO.  "It is our goal to ensure our Hawaii operations are working at full capacity as we begin to focus on national and international hotel partnerships," he continued.

Uy has a reputation for strategic creative vision, innovation, and outstanding leadership, for which she was selected by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) as Hawaii 2010 "Ad Woman of the Year" and most recently named an honoree for 2019 PBN "Women Who Mean Business." In 2014, she joined Outrigger Enterprises Group, quickly moving from Executive Creative Director to VP Creative Development to help reposition and rebrand the global portfolio of hotels and resorts, beginning with the iconic Waikiki properties.

Tammy Uy commented, "It is such an inspiration to be surrounded by the caliber of talent at NMG. The creative product is unparalleled. I am thrilled to be a part of such a forward-thinking company that does not compromise on quality and is so focused on the success of its partners."

NMG has quickly become a leading visitor media company, and in 2018 reinvented itself as NMG Network to include a cloud-based broadcasting platform for its travel and luxury real-estate clients while producing and aggregating original content including shows, films, music, and events. NMG Network offers clients strategic luxury and travel distribution audiences in addition to its independent platforms, FLUX and Lei. The recently launched network of channels is accessible online at NMGnetwork.com and onsite at select hotel, resort, and luxury residential distribution partners.

Uy set a standard of quality while serving as Senior Creative Director at MVNP, where she oversaw each of the agency’s accounts. Under her leadership, the agency earned prestigious local and national awards, most notably for Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau. While Associate Creative Director at Mullen Advertising, she applied her creative vision to a variety of national accounts ranging from travel and tourism to economic development to healthcare.

Tammy holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Penn State University. Her lifelong love of animals is evident in her role for a third year on the planning committee for the Hawaiian Humane Society’s Annual Tuxes and Tails gala and in her love for her new Rottweiler puppy, Coco.
