Nella Media Group Announces Acquisition of Visitor Video Inc. and Introduces NMG Network

Nella Media Group (NMG), a growth focused travel media company, today announced it is acquiring Visitor Video Inc., Hawaii’s leading visitor industry video distribution company. The acquisition represents an evolution of NMG’s media offerings and accelerates its expansion into new markets with video content and an extensive distribution network. The addition enables NMG to launch the NMG Network, enriching its diverse storytelling capabilities.  It also allows NMG to enhance its services to current partners by offering increased visibility to in-room hotel, luxury, and pre-arrival TV audiences.

NMG will build upon Visitor Video’s successes and industry knowledge with diversified offerings and incremental local and international partnerships. The company will expand its travel and lifestyle brands by developing a platform for video storytelling and distribution of content utilizing online television.

Since 1989 Visitor Video has grown to be the industry leader in custom content creation and access to Hawaii’s most sought after travelers. Current Visitor Video distribution channels include Real Hawaii TV, viewed by guests in over 25,000 Oahu hotel rooms, 30 hotel-specific guest room channels statewide, and an on-board channel enjoyed by the passengers of the Oahu fleet of SpeediShuttle luxury passenger transports. Visitor Video also provided Aloha Airlines with its in-flight video programming.

“We are extremely excited to announce this acquisition of Visitor Video. We couldn’t be more pleased to take what Visitor Video has become and build on its already successful business,” said Jason Cutinella, NMG CEO.  “Dennis Burns and Bill Riddle are industry leaders and we are honored to have their experience and innovation joining the team. NMG’s vision is to expand our existing partnerships through digital storytelling, which we will now be able to share through a broad network.  Digital content is the future of our company and something we have been working toward from NMG’s launch in 2009.  I look forward to introducing each of our partners to the NMG Network in the very near future and helping to grow their media footprint,” he continued.

“We are thrilled to join the NMG team and help build this new media network. We are confident the addition of Visitor Video, with its video services and guest audiences, will have a very positive impact at NMG and together our momentum will increase rapidly,” said Dennis Burns, President, Visitor Video Inc. “This deal will create many opportunities to leverage our strengths,” he continued. “Our digital media studio, 1013 Integrated, a Pacific Focus Inc. subsidiary, will continue to provide creative and production services for the new network, while remaining outside the scope for the Visitor Video deal,” Burns said.
